Junya Watanabe is a Japanese fashion designer, originally the protege of Comme des Garçons designer Rei Kawakubo. Junya, like his mentor Rei Kawakubo, is renowned for designing innovative and distinctive clothing. He is particularly interested in synthetic and technologically advanced textiles and fabrics like you could see on this collection which is really dope. We are offered some innovative approaches with select jackets assuming a more casual role with the inclusion of nylons and plaids in a one-piece format. I might get the navy and royal blue blazer. B-
